Embedded in native culture and tradition, the Grand Excelsior Hotel Deira Dubai has long been part of the local community. Strategically positioned at the heart of Dubai’s trading roots, will surprise guests by transforming its Le Café, into an Art Exhibition Gallery portraying “Ramadan Nights” curated by ZeeArts. The event attracted over 12 local artists this season, featuring ‘Islamic Calligraphy and Islamic Art’. The exhibition under the theme Ramadan Night, showcased artists from Ajman, Al Ain, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaima and Dubai. The shows present a body of work, contributed by various artists, which aim at showcasing and manifesting the ideals of compassion, peace and tolerance during the holy month of Ramadan said, Ms. Zaahirah Muthy the founder of ZeeArts. The artists presented their masterpiece are Maria Gouta- Greece, Shiba Khan- India, Alia Medta- Egypt, Veena Devagiri-India, Samia Saleh-Egypt, Yasmine Tahhan-Syrian, Jocelyn Lewisham- New Zealand, Karen Marie Axworthy- UK, Yasmeen Mohamed Mostafa- Egypt, Rukni Alawadhi- UAE and Sheikh Saifi from Pakistan. Guests can enjoy a traditional Iftar this Holy Month at its restaurant The Terrace which will be available during the whole month of Ramadan; with an accessible Iftar buffet, and Suhoor a la carte offering. Guests will savor an array of delicacies from the International buffet, featuring traditional Middle Eastern favourite.
